In driving to work this morning, managing steering, talking on the phone with my Mom, changing the radio station, and drinking a bottle of water, I also thought a little about why my life is grand.
1. I live close enough to my family that I get to spend time with them on the weekends.
2. Even when I call before 8 in the morning, my Mom still answers the phone as though she has been awake for hours and was hoping I'd call.
3. I am married to one of the most amazing people in the world- who else is totally hott, cracks me up on an almost hourly basis, and offers me valuable insights into common sense? As an example, when I cracked open the hood of my car this morning to check the oil and couldn't see without a flashlight, Scott was there to remind me that the garage light was off. ; )
4. I have the cutest dog in the land. Really-- everyone says so. (Refer to previously posted pics).
5. While my job can be difficult at times, I am so happy I work in the Court. Even on bad days, I can wear high heels that click on the marble floors.
Today I am grateful.
